THE BEGINNINGS

The history of the ELTEK Group

Since its foundation in 1979 in Casale Monferrato, the ELTEK Group has progressively expanded its business through the addition of offices, not only in Italy but also abroad, with new business units dedicated to equipment, automotive, medical and biomedical fields. In the 1990s, the popularity of washing machines and then of dishwashers led us to create the first mechanical anti-flooding device, by patenting the WATERBLOCK system that prevents the uncontrolled overflow of water, in case of pipe breakage.

The smart revolution

Thanks to the explosion of the Internet of Things in Italy, in 2015 Eltek was dedicated to improving the WATERBLOCK system to enhance product functionality through the introduction of a smart leak and water-block detector: the E-WATERBLOCK. With a simple click on the ELTEK APP, these technological innovations have allowed us to offer superior service to our customers. The implementation of WATERBLOCK functions, such as the precise measurement and constant monitoring of water consumption, make it able to detect even the slightest anomaly.
