4. What do you mean by dual hose construction?

Dual hose construction means a dry home. Our solution is made up of 2 hoses. An inner nylon braided hose as the water supply line and an  external corrugated plastic hose to capture any water leakage resulting from failure or breakdown of the inner hose.  .  Captured water will fill the sealed outer corrugated hose creating enough pressure to activate the mechanical shutoff valve.

5. Do I need adapters?

Most households will not need to purchase an adapter for their washing machine.  In some instances, the water supply valves are located too far inside the box from the front surface of a washing machine outlet box.  In this case, you may need to buy a set of male GHT couplings and double female GHT adapters if not already installed in the outlet box.   For dishwasher applications, The dishwasher kit contains two adapters: ¾ MGHT x 3/8” female compression and ¾ MGHT x 3/8” male iron pipe (MIP).

It’s DIY easy. Same installation procedures as any hose you ever connected in the past. First  shut off the water.  Second,  install the hose fastening nuts to the inlet connection (red or blue plastic nut) of the appliance.   Third, connect opposite end of hose with metal nut to water supply valve on plumbing line.  Red color is hot water and blue color is cold water line.. No need for tools, hand tighten only. Then turn on the water again.
